Redington has today announced the appointment of Adam Jones to its Board as an Executive Director. Adam is currently Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Redington and Managing Director of the firm’s software business, Ada Fintech, having led the firm’s technology strategy since 2017.
Adam’s appointment to the Board highlights the pivotal role of technology in Redington’s overall client proposition and reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to the digitalisation of its business and sustained investment in developing fintech solutions for its clients.
Adam joined Redington in 2017 as CTO to develop the firm’s technology platform with a dual focus on digital innovation and client service excellence. Under his leadership, Redington developed Ada Fintech, a proprietary platform that provides a holistic portfolio management, research and governance solution, all underpinned by Redington’s leading asset and risk modelling capabilities.
Ada Fintech’s purpose is to bring better technology solutions to all investment professionals, uniting best-in-class institutional investment intellectual property with simple and intuitive user interfaces.
Equipping clients with quality tools that enable them to make more informed, timely decisions and to provide better outcomes for their end-beneficiaries is a key part of Redington’s mission to help make 100 million people financially secure.
Kathryn Purves, Chair of the Board, commented: “Clients are increasingly looking for their advisers to be more integrated and technology-enabled. Redington has always focused on delivering a cutting-edge approach and we are positioning the business to continue to be at the forefront of our clients’ current and future needs.
“Adam is a proven leader with a clear vision to shape a technology-enabled future for the business, something which sits at the heart of Redington’s strategy as we continue to invest, learn and evolve.”
Adam Jones continued: “When I joined Redington in 2017, my first priority was to digitalise our consultancy business and to improve our clients’ engagement experience by giving them the tools we believed were essential for enhancing their investment journeys and supporting their overall decision-making abilities.
“Our Ada Fintech software was borne of that priority, and today, my purpose is simple: to bring better technology solutions to all investment professionals, and to support Redington’s ambition to change the way the world sees and consumes investment advice. Being appointed to the Board is a testament to Redington’s enduring commitment to supporting digital advances and delivering enhanced value to our clients.”
