At Redington, we’ve set ourselves the ambitious goal of helping to make 100m people financially secure – for the benefit of people and planet. While we’re not legally required to publish our gender pay gap (since we employ fewer than 250 people), we’ve committed to doing it anyway.

Although it’s not a perfect calculation, we believe the gender pay gap is an important measure for ourselves and the industry, allowing us to monitor progress concerning our gender representation and pay year-on-year.

In 2023, our mean GPG was 3.2% (vs. 12.8% in 2022) and the median GPG was 8.5% (vs. 18.7% in 2022). To put this into context, the government has estimated that the UK finance industry has an average gender pay gap of 22.7% in 2022-23.

We are proud of our 2023 pay numbers and pleased that our mean pay gap is below industry averages, but recognise this is a snapshot in time and there is work to do on our bonus figures. We will continue to review our policies and practices to keep driving towards having no pay gap for hourly pay or bonus.
