Home / About Redington / Inclusion Charter

At Redington, we’re on a mission to make 100 million people financially secure – for the benefit of people and planet. That’s 100 million different people, starting with our employees. Inclusion within the workplace is a basic human right. And that’s why we’re committed to creating an environment where employees, clients and contractors – of all backgrounds and levels of seniority – feel heard, valued and supported in a way that helps them achieve their full potential. Redington’s six-pillar Inclusion Charter guides our thinking around DEI. We encourage all employees to stand by these to ensure we’re continually striving for better as champions and role models with a shared purpose – driving change.

Values

Our core values of Empower Others, Be Generous and Strive for Better underline Redington’s ambition to do the right thing and give everyone space to grow and be themselves.

Representation

We feel strongly about creating environments where people feel safe speaking up and calling in (vs. calling out) behaviours that are inconsistent with our values, in a way that encourages learning and understanding.

Perspective sharing

Different perspectives within our organisation and wider industry. (e.g. opening up internal events where we discuss failures and successes with clients and
competitors so we can all learn from each other).

Safe Spaces

We feel strongly about creating environments where people feel safe speaking and calling in (vs. calling out) behaviours that are inconsistent with our values, in a way that encourages learning and understanding.

Stay Curious

Seeking feedback and holding ourselves accountable where our endeavours fall short. The outside environment is continually evolving so there is always more to learn.

Data

Collecting and sharing better data (e.g. gender pay gap). The better data we have available, the more informed decisions we can make.
